People are drawn to art. for a multitude of reasons.

Movement, colour, and texture are all tools for the viewer to participate in the thinking and intention of the artist. I intentionally build my surfaces to be tactile and touchable and lovingly worked, so the viewer will come into the painting with ease, and find a storehouse of value with which to celebrate life.

My wish is that people should live with colour, texture, beauty, movement, story and symbolism for their benefit and the long term benefit of all. One of the functions of art is to be of benefit to the viewer, to question, make aware, or create a playful interaction.
